Saw a guy on 'socialmedia' telling people to use 'VPN' if they're fkd by TOR google captcha and thought I would recommend I2P purokishi.i2p outproxy.(purokishi.i2p is working real fine with 0hop 1tunnel, with way less captcha if any)However, the more I was adding steps, the more I wasnt sure anymore. They might be better just launching their fkn VPN, no? :/1-Install I2P / java*https://geti2p.net/en/download or I2P+ https://i2pplus.com/ (hi echelon)2-Setup I2P (welcome wizard)3-Setup browser:https://geti2p.net/en/about/browser-config or the idk extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/i2p-in-private-browsing/4-Setup outproxy / http proxy:https://www.reddit.com/r/i2p/comments/hcezcq/new_i2p_outproxy_service_purokishii2p/ also: https://ipfs.io/ipns/bafzbeia74gyghnagkhyofkgghurtv35c62eq5nuxmt5zgtlqpcdtfhp4zi Not sure thats best approach, not very trivial. Hard to promote thats 4sure.IPFS has this extension. You're an IPFS node with this browser extension. Cant do same with I2P? (router embedded in the extension) https://github.com/ipfs-shipyard/ipfs-companion That would be much easier to promote. With GOOD default config: maxParticipatingTunnels=1000, bandwidth set to 99999 100%, new purokishi.i2p outproxy, encryption set to 'both'
When on tor or i2p I typically use https://filterbypass.me to hit the clear web, https://google.com through FilterBypass.me never gives me captcha's
I also enjoy taking snapshots of webpages with https://archive.fo
Hell, you can even use archive.fo inside filterbypass.me for extra SSL/TLS tunnels to protect against any outproxy trust issues
Long live i2p! Long live the legal use of encryption (I hope)!
@valiantpandaIf you use filterbypass to go to archive.fo over Tor you'll end up with a captcha. If you try to use archive.fo over Tor you'll end up with a captcha.Thats what I got here: One more stepPlease complete the security check to access
